The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for providing exceptional customer service related to warehouse operations and inventory management. It handles domestic and international shipments and ensures compliance with import and export regulations.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Completed high school education or equivalent. Additional training in customer service or logistics may be an asset.
Previous experience in customer service, logistics or inventory management roles, preferably with at least 2-3 years of experience in a similar position.
Basic knowledge of logistics and inventory management practices.
TECHNICAL SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to effectively coordinate inventory management and delivery scheduling.
Ability to solve problems and make informed decisions in customer service situations.
SOME FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION:
Coordinate the receipt and processing of customer orders, ensuring timely and accurate preparation of requested products.
Handle customer complaints and issues effectively, seeking satisfactory solutions and escalating problems when necessary.
Constantly follow up on orders in transit, ensuring timely delivery and resolving logistical issues.
Ensure that all operations comply with applicable regulations and standards, including customs and security.
Prepare periodic reports on warehouse customer service performance and related operations.
