Job description:
The Social Media Manager role provides the voice for a company across social channels. They are responsible for responding to comments and creating content. Social Media Managers look for opportunities to increase brand exposure for their assigned company. This role will be responsible for creating original text and video content, managing posts and responding to followers. You will manage our company image in a cohesive way to achieve marketing goals that you help define.
The Social Media Manager needs to be up-to-date with the latest digital technologies and social media trends and be able to make proactive recommendations to seize opportunities around those trends. They should have excellent communication skills, hyper-attention to detail and be able to express our company's views creatively and journalistically.
Ultimately, this role should be able to handle our social media presence ensuring high levels of web traffic and customer engagement.
Responsibilities:
Serve as a Conduent brand evangelist responsible for driving engagement among our clients, prospects and the general public
Monitoring, managing and reporting of all Conduent corporate social accounts
Escalate member issues and represent them fairly and follow up on social accordingly
Performing research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences
Proposal for social best practices and new channels of opportunity (i.e., should we move off Twitter to Instagram? Algorithm changes with platforms and how they impact reach/engagement)
Designing and implementing social media strategy to align with business goals
Setting specific objectives and reporting on ROI
Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content daily (e.g. original text, photos, videos and news)
Analyze social media results and develop regular reports (i.e. reach, traffic to Conduent.com and other performance metrics as they relate to social media efforts)
Collaborate with other teams, like marketing, sales and customer service to ensure brand consistency
Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews
Oversee social media accounts' design direction in partnership with the design team (e.g. refreshing Facebook timeline cover, profile pictures, etc.)
Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and original campaigns around our key differentiators and value propositions.
Stay up to date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications
Recommend tools that could enhance our social efforts
Coordinate the marketing calendar and ensure consistent messaging across all channels
Identify and engage with key influencers, brand ambassadors, and VIP clients
Help bring our brand into conversations taking place across social, blogs, and news sites
Cull through testimonials posted to social and surveys and collect overly positive and relevant testimonials in a database for marketing to use at will
Consistently discover and share relevant brands that could inspire Conduent's own tone, voice, and brand -- offer innovative suggestions for different ways to approach marketing in relation to the changing industry and mediums
Help manage and coordinate key industry trade shows, events, and sponsorships and "own" event channels
